D1ProjX (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at d1projx.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using our site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We are committed to transparency. We do not sell your personal information. We do not run ads. We exist to help student-athletes and their families navigate the college recruiting process.

We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you visit our site.

Information you provide:

• Email address, when you submit a form to download the free Blueprint or join a waitlist
• Any information you voluntarily include in a contact form or email to us

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type, operating system, and device type
• Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs
• General geographic location (country and region level, not street-level)
• Usage data collected through Google Analytics 4

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To deliver the free Blueprint PDF and other requested resources to your email address
• To send occasional emails about D1ProjX products, tools, and recruiting content that may be relevant to your situation — you can unsubscribe at any time
• To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
• To respond to questions or requests you send us directly
• To build anonymized, aggregate research data about the recruiting process over time

We will never use your email address to send unrelated commercial offers or share it with third-party marketers.

Email Communications

When you submit your email address on our site, you are opting in to receive the resource you requested (such as the free Blueprint PDF) and related communications from D1ProjX. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time and we will honor that request promptly.

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage our email list and delivery. Your email address is stored securely within their platform. Brevo’s privacy policy is available at brevo.com.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our site. This service uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to collect anonymous usage data. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google through this process.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Highlight Reel Editor

Our browser-based Highlight Reel Editor processes video footage entirely within your own browser. Video files you upload to the editor are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored by D1ProjX. All editing happens locally on your device.

If you choose to upgrade to the premium tier through our payment processor, your payment information is handled entirely by that processor. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details.

Third-Party Services

Our site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics
• Brevo — email list management and delivery
• Google Fonts — web font delivery
• SamCart — payment processing for paid products

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies independently.

Data Retention

We retain your email address and any associated information for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your contact information from our active mailing list. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained indefinitely for research purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Our site is intended for student-athletes, parents, and families involved in the college athletic recruiting process. We recognize that some users may be minors. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review this policy and to supervise their children’s use of our site and tools.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Our site uses HTTPS encryption. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or from our site.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
